If you are having trouble seeing your ERC20 token in the Ledger dashboard, there are a few things you need to investigate. Don’t panic!

Your coins are most likely there, you just can’t see them. Today, we will go over a few simple fixes you can perform to help you investigate your transaction, and hopefully fix your dashboard.

Possible Fixes

Make sure you are using the latest version of Ledger Live.

If you sent your crypto tokens to your hardware wallet but they’re not showing up, here’s what you can do.

#1: Ensure you sent the cryptocurrency to the correct address. It might be the case that you sent the cryptocurrency to the wrong address or sent the wrong cryptocurrency to an address.

#2: Check that you have the newest firmware installed on your device. If an update is available and not installed can screw things up. You may find that when you upgrade, your balance will be changed to the correct amount.

#3: Ensure you have the Ethereum app installed. If the coins are an ERC20 derivative, it will not show up unless you have the ETH app installed.

#4: ETH app installed but ERC20 token still not showing you may need to see if there are any updates for the ETH app. You may need to re-install the ETH app.

#5: Ensure you are sending a supported coin. Not all ERC20 tokens are supported on Ledger. If the currency is not backed, then you may have to contact the support to work out a resolution.

Conclusion

If a coin has been sent to your hardware wallet but you can’t see it in your dashboard you need to check a few things. Use the guide provided above to help you figure out the cause of your problem and come up with the solution. The fixes are easy so you should be able to follow them without a problem. If none of the fixes work, contact the Ledger support team for further help.
